“I have been in the real estate business for about 12 years and I can confidently say there are lots of gaps that needs attention if we want to this industry to improve. This association would bridge the gap between landlords and tenants. To achieve this we all have to be on the same page and it will start with understanding what is expected of each party in terms of rights and responsibilities,” she said at the launch which took place on December 27, 2022, in Accra

Mrs Koosom also noted that it was time the rental and housing industry was taken seriously.

As a government institution, the Rent Control is mandated to be fair and firm in it’s dealing. we also believe that when you know your rights and responsibilities, the person on the other side would know the right thing to do,” he said.

This is an amazing initiative and one that hopefully can stem bad practices and sanitize the market enough to help them be a force to contend with.
